The Research Office is a key structural unit of the Department of Scientific and Research Activities of D. Serikbayev EKTU in the formation of the scientific and technical base of the university and contributes to improving the scientific and research reputation of the university through active participation in scientific events and publications.

The main activity of the Office is to solve the following tasks:

• Strengthening the university's position in the global scientific community through active interaction with research centers and universities around the world.
• The work of international research groups and the formation of international consortia in priority areas of research with the participation of National and international scientific organizations, universities.
• Search for new sources of financing for industry and international projects and implementation of priority projects.
• Holding events to share experiences, present research results, and strengthen scientific ties.
• Implementation of a comprehensive program of interaction with the Research Institute.
