Analysis of sulfur and carbon content

Range of measured concentrations:

• carbon: 0,01-6%,
• sulfur: 0,01-0,5%
• Sample weight – 0,1-1,0 г.
• The range can be expanded by reducing the weight of the sample.

Error rate:

• carbon: absolute 2 ppm or relative 0,5%

• sulfur: absolute 2 ppm or relative 1,0%

Determination of carbon and sulfur content in metals, ores, concentrates and other inorganic materials. The sample placed in a ceramic crucible is installed in a high-frequency induction furnace and burned in an oxygen stream. The CO and SO gases resulting from the reaction are measured using a selective high-sensitivity infrared (NDIR) detector.
