EKTU named after. D. Serikbaev welcomes foreign citizens coming to Kazakhstan to study. All applicants must be accepted into a program of study before applying for a visa. Once the acceptance letter is sent to the student, EKTU will provide the student with the necessary permitting documentation to apply for a student visa.

All foreign students require a student visa (category C9) to come to Kazakhstan. This type of visa is issued for a period of one year and allows multiple entries into Kazakhstan. The visa must be renewed every year.
