The Shakhmardan Yessenov Science and Education Foundation announces a competition for 10 grants for the students in their second and third years majoring in engineering and natural sciences in Kazakhstani universities who are also citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to undertake a research internship in laboratories of the world in the summer of 2018.
If you are:
- in your second or third year in one of the Kazakhstani universities;
- majoring in engineering and natural sciences;
- you dream to enroll to a Ph.D program of leading universities abroad;
- you have got scientific projects and achievements in this area;
- you want to pursue science and you can prove this to us;
- you are eager to work and contribute to develop the science in Kazakhstan;

RECEIVE OUR GRANT AND DO AN INTERNSHIP ABROAD IN SUMMER OF 2018
To do so, send your application and the following documents before 10 December 2017 to us:
- A copy of national ID;
- A copy of grades record (with all the examination periods);
- Copies of diplomas, certificates, scientific projects, etc.
- An essay on the subject: “I would like to receive a Ph.D degree because…”
- Recommendation letter from the University’s President or Vice-principal.

On 8 January 2018 we will announce the results of the first stage of the competition and list the names of participants of the second stage. The winners of the competition will be shortlisted at the beginning of February.
