The delegation of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University visited with the response two-day visit D. Serikbaev EKSTU.

The purpose of the visit of scientists from the neighboring region got acquainted with activity of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University in the main areas. During the meeting, experts from two major universities discussed the prospects of enhanced cooperation in the field of innovative technology, science, and experience exchange.

During the visit there took place an excursion on scientific and academic laboratories of EKSTU. The guests visited the Museum of the "Great Altai", production areas, certification testing center, Tekhnopark Altay and other objects and got acquainted with scientific developments and research of the University.

Cooperation between the two universities is established not by accident. Both educational institutions have certain achievements and good performance in innovation and quality of education.

As noted the rector of D. Serikbayev EKSTU Zhasulan Shaimardanov, the parties needed to exert common efforts for the effective implementation of innovative projects.

In turn, the rector of S. Toraigyrov PSU rsariyev noted that the two universities as a support to regional universities needed to look for cooperative mechanisms in order to be competitive in the conditions of outflow of potential students in Russia, Almaty and Astana. In the administration building, there were held meetings according to the scheme "B to B", where experts from two universities discussed issues in their areas in a narrower format.

In conclusion, the "Round table" outlined priorities of further cooperation. Under the current agreements there were signed tripartite agreements between sub-departments of the universities.

In October last year, a group of EKSTU scientists visited their Pavlodar colleagues. Then the delegation visited the archaeological Museum, the laboratory of the University and not long ago opened the startup Academy of the University.

The outcome of this meeting was the signing of the Memorandum of cooperation between two educational institutions to create joint research laboratories and temporary research teams for projects, academic mobility of students, internships, graduate and doctoral students, completion of professional practice at universities, as well as participation in international educational and scientific projects and programs.
