On the 25th of February  2017 at D. Serikbayev East-Kazakhstan state technical University there was the event "Open Day" for graduates of Ulan district. The event was attended by graduates of the 20 schools in the district.

Co-rector for Academic and Methodological Work Linok N. N. made welcoming speech. Further the meeting was continued by the deans, they made a presentation of faculties and specialties of the University. the Director of the Higher Technical College Sagynganov E. K. told about the specialties of the Higher technical College of D. Serikbaev EKSTU.

The student of the specialty "Instrument engineering", a native of Ulan district Baurzhan Sadykov told about his academic success and student life.

The meeting was concluded with a tour of the specialized classrooms and laboratories of the University.
