From July 10 to July 15 undergraduates and students of D.Serikbayev EKSTU of the Faculty of Earth Sciences Yelaman Serikbayev, Aislu Kutubaeva and Sayat Kapesov participated in the "International Summer School on Land Degradation in Kyrgyzstan" within the framework of the international joint IUCLAND project on the topic "International University Cooperation on Land Protection in the European - Asiatic countries" by " ERASMUS + " program.

The summer school was held in I.Razzakov KSTU, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. On this subject, a course of lectures was listened to and practical classes were conducted at the training ground in accordance with the soil fiend technology, as well as classes in the interactive class with the use of modern GIS technologies and remote sensing in the ERDAS software.

As part of the familiarization tour with the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan, the participants of the summer school visited the memorial complex "Ata-Bayit", the geological museum of the university, in which samples of rocks from all over the world are collected, as well as the Kyrgyz state natural park "Ala-Archa". At the end of the course, the EKSTU students successfully passed the final tests and received certificates.
