Every year Ministry of Education and Science sums up the results of joint scientific-research work of students and teachers. The results are reports that have been presented at the Republican competition of student works. Participation in research work allows each qualified student to determine their future plans, acquire the necessary research skills and to make the results of their research at conferences, seminars, to participate in the debate.

Research of students of Information technology and Business Department was appreciated. The winners are:

• Muratbekov Bekzhan –the first degree diploma in the direction "Material Science and new technologies in Material Science ",
• Sakhitov Bekzhan – the second degree diploma in the direction "Material Science and new technologies in Material Science ",
• Kairatkyzy Togzhan – the third degree diploma in the direction "Information systems",
• Kiselev Gregory – the second degree diploma in the direction "Automation and management",
• Kulesh Margarita – the second degree diploma in the direction "Finance",
• Sakitov Dulat – the second degree diploma in the direction "Computer engineering and software",
• Tursumbaeva  Zhanna – the third degree diploma in the direction "Accounting and audit".
