On the 28th of March, the students of EKSTU visited "the Kazakhstan company on management of electric networks" (Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company) "KEGOC". The tour was conducted for groups of 15-E-1 AND 14-E-1, accompanied by the curator  Prohorenkova Nadezhda Valeryevna. The students got acquainted with the activities of JSC Eastern branch of MES and visited the Dispatch center  of  Eastern regional dispatch center, where were held the introductory training and clearly demonstrated by the work of dispatchers in case of any malfunctions. The tour continued in the office of the SIIDA (testing and diagnosis). In the laboratories of high-voltage testing students were shown how to carry out tests on various types of insulation, particularly on the rubber gloves and other protection. In the chemical laboratory they told about the diagnosis of transformer oils. In conclusion, in electrical substations No. 7, the students got familiarized with modern equipment, substation, relay protection equipment, and other types of transformers.
