On May 11, 2024, a meeting of the Accreditation Council of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) took place.

 

The agency’s Accreditation Council accredited 7 educational programs D.Serikbayev EKTU for 5 years:

  •  6B07203 Mining Engineering
  •  6B11201 Life Safety and Enviromental Protection
  •  7M05301 Technical Physics
  •  7М07203 Mining Engineering
  •  7M11201 Life Safety and Enviromental Protection
  •  8D05301 Technical Physics

It should be noted that the program 6B07203 "Mining Engineering" received 3 stars based on the QS Stars rating analysis, and ranked 3rd in the Atameken rating in 2024. Additionally, there is an agreement with KazZinc LLP to conduct training at the company's branch with elements of dual education. According to the agreement, students receive an additional scholarship and subsequent employment for three years.

The "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" program is versatile; its graduates can work in all sectors of the economy, from agriculture and public utilities to the nuclear and space industries, the military-industrial complex, and emergency protection. They can also work in various industries, government agencies in the field of life safety and environmental protection, public and international organizations in the "green" agenda and sustainable development.

The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) and the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) marks on our accreditation certificates testify to the full confidence in D. Serikbayev EKTU and its educational programs, as well as recognition from the global community.
