There was a landmark meeting with the son of the famous classic in Kazakh literature Mukhtar Auezov in D.Serikbaeva East Kazakhstan state technical University - a prominent figure of Kazakhstan, candidate of philological sciences, former Ambassador of the Kazakhstan Republic  in China - Murat Auezov. He visited the University with a descendant of another famous Kazakhstan leader – Dinar Kunayev.

Murat Auezov in dialogue with the students and teachers of the University discussed different topics, answering the questions of his followers. Having started a conversation with the participants, Murat Auezov noted that along the Irtysh River are the cities in which formed a special atmosphere of spirituality and culture, where exiled representatives of XIX century created and worked.  Here lived Abai and Mukhtar and all inhabitants of the Eastern Kazakhstan, thanks to this heritage it is great future.

After productive discussion guests visited the Museum of history of EKSTU. In conclusion of the meeting, Rector of the University Nurlan Temirbekov solemnly declared that by the decision of the academic Council of the University,  Murat Auezov was awarded the title of honorary Professor of D.Serikbaeva  EKSTU!
