On the 1st of September at 10.00 a.m. there was ceremony  devoted to Day of Knowledge with the participation of the D.Serikbayev  EKSTU rector Zhasulan Shaimardanov.

In General, more or less 2000 students were enrolled to the University that is why both teachers and their more experienced colleagues from the senior courses waited for the meeting with first-year students of different educational areas. We would like to emphasize students who won a grant of the Rector.

- The participation at the Republic projects allowed me to win the grant of the Rector. At school I have dreamed to study in D. Serikbayev EKSTU , because I've heard that there are good teachers and that the University is very famous and reliable,  says first - year student of the Economics Department Aidan Ualieva. It is worth to mention Aidan scored 125 points at UNT and chose D. Serikbaev EKSTU. This shows the merit and status of the University.

Zhandos Dalelkhanov, the wrestling athlete, the first - year student of Life Defense and Environment Protection Department does not believe that he is the student of D. Serikbayev EKSTU.  I am very grateful to this University, to the rector of EKSTU Zhasulan Shaimardanov. Thanks to people like Zhasulan Kudaibergenovich the University always will be at a high level, said the father Baurzhan Akhmetov.

The first - year student of Cadaster Department, the leader of "Zhas Talap-KZ" 2016 Turysbekov Diaz  is very glad that D. Serikbayev EKSTU  has given him the opportunity to study at this University.

Then, the Rector of D. Serikbayev EKSTU wished the freshmen to make more efforts to achieve the aims. – Dear freshmen, I want to congratulate you on this wonderful choice and wish you to become worthy citizens of our country. I would like the new academic year brought us good results and huge wins, said Zh. Shaimardanov.

 After, the event featured performances of vocal and choreographic groups to congratulate the freshmen of the University.
