At D.Serikbayev East-Kazakhstan State Technical University there was held a scientific-practical conference "Constitutional reform of Kazakhstan: a new stage of democratic development".

 The event was devoted to discussion of the draft law "On amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (26th of January to 26th of February 2017). The conference was attended by scientists, researchers, representatives of Assembly of Kazakhstan people, political parties, ethnic and cultural associations, regional Center of public consent - the House of people friendship, public associations, government officials, students and undergraduates of the University.

The conference was organized by D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, History of Kazakhstan and Assembly of Kazakhstan people Sub-Department.

The discussion of the upcoming global changes in the political structure of the country was held in a lively, meaningful and constructive format. Following discussions it was adopted the corresponding draft resolution.
