At the 5th of May in the concert hall of D.Serikbayev EKSTU held a concert dedicated to the Day of the Great Victory and the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland.

The concert was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Zhassulan Shaimardanov. He recalled the importance of this holy day for all citizens of our country and the role of Kazakhstani people in the years of the Great World War.

The concert program was rich and interesting. Creative groups of students pleased audience and the veterans with sketches and literary editing. Bright dances were replaced by heartfelt songs on military themes. And the audience sang with pleasure with artists. Also videos with documentaries of the war years were demonstrated. The final performance was the song "Victory Day" performed by students of our university. All the audience joined the festive song. The concert turned out to be perfect and informative.
