On May 3, 2018, students and staff of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University participated in the annual "Donor Day" action. The event has a huge success. Every year the number of its participants increases. And on this day to participate in the action for blood donation came 90 people among staff and students of the university.

The organizers created a comfortable and benevolent atmosphere for the Donor Day. The hall of the university's main educational building turned into an improvised blood transfusion station. Students and teachers from the very morning hurried to do a good thing - donate blood. But firstly, each volunteer had to wait for a doctor's examination. Heroes, who shared a part of themselves, were surrounded by friendly and caring workers of the regional blood center, who did not leave anybody without attention and support.

A charitable action for the delivery of blood is held in D. Serikbayev EKSTU twice a year. According to the observations of the organizers, the number of those, who wish to take part in the charity event at the university is increasing every year. There are permanent donors - students who participate in the action not for the first time. Many not only donate blood themselves, but also bring their friends.

"I am glad that our students always take an active part in such social actions," said the Director of the Administrative Department of D. Serikbayev EKSTU, Manshuk Bayzeldinova. –“ I am proud of our students. They not only manifest themselves in creativity, but also in an active life position. Students are able to help others, they can mobilize and overcome fear. It's so nice to see that they are not indifferent to other people's difficulties and problems!
