Summer season closing ceremony of student construction and youth labor brigades and Zhasyl El brigades took place at the "Ethnopark" complex of Ust-Kamenogorsk. Zhaksylyk Omar, Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan, participated in this event as well.

The Rector of our University Nurlan M. Temirbekov was awarded the Diploma of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan and "Best Rector" nomination for the organization of student construction labor brigades for his contribution to the development of these brigades and ongoing support of student initiatives.

D. Serikbayev EKSTU student construction brigade was recognized as "The best student construction brigade among the universities of the region".

Fighter students of the University Alexandr Dzisyuk (Architecture and Civil Engineering Department, 11-SD-1) and Yeugeniya Klygina (Department of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, 10-SP-1) won the nominations "The Best fighter of student construction brigades of the region" and "The Best Girl-fighter of student construction teams of the region" respectively.
During past two years the University has created all the conditions for the fighters of the internal brigade such as free meals in the canteen, free hostel accommodation, foreign language courses.

This summer, in addition to its internal student construction brigades, our University welcomed "Progress" International student construction brigade from the Russian Federation according to the cooperation program providing them with necessary social conditions.
