The tenge was  introduced on November 15, 1993 as the currency for Kazakhstan.  This year it has been used for twenty years. The tenge banknotes are of  high quality  and it is impossible to falsify. A banknote contain  sixteen security features: security threads, watermark, microlettering, iris printing  and others.

The first Kazakhstani tenge were printed in the United Kingdom by «Harrison & Sons company». The British company had been printed Kazakhstani money until 1995. The Kazakhstan Banknote Factory started to print the tenge on May 19, 1995. The coins made at Kazakhstan’s Mint at Ulba Metallurgical Plant in Ust –Kamenogorsk now.

The national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the symbol of independence of Kazakhstan.

The Economics and Management Department has been training students in the specialty of “Finance” since 1997. Graduates of this   specialty   work at Kazakhstani and Russian banks.
