The new school year started. Traditionally the Day of Knowledge in D.Serikbaev EKSTU together with the teachers of subdivisions "Philosophy and problems of human development" and "History of Kazakhstan" was held “The lesson of the world” for first-year students. Then, it was organized solemn line on the square of D.Serikbaev EKSTU. The event was opened by Nurlan Temirbekov, the rector of D.Serikbaev EKSTU, doctor of physics mathematical sciences, professor, academician of National Academy of Engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan, corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He congratulated the students on the first training day at the university and wished good luck and success in everything.

Congratulatory words also said - the first doctor PhD, director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and New Educational Technologies, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences - Turganbaev Erken; a doctoral student of Mining and Metallurgical Faculty - Zarina Ahmetvalieva; on behalf of all first year students the owner of the mark "Altyn Belgi", who won the state education grant, first-year student of Information Technology and Energy Faculty - Ersainova Zhansaya.
