For the past several years under the leadership of MES lasts for the most ambitious student project - national contests for students in various specialties. This year the second stage of the Republican student subject Olympiad on specialty "computers and software" passed at  D.Serikbaev EKSTU.

The competition was attended by 35 students from 12 universities of the Republic:

  • International information technologies University (IITU), Almaty;
  • Almaty technological University, Almaty;
  • Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda state University, Kyzylorda;
  • H. A. Yasavi International Kazakh-Turkish University., Turkestan;
  • Kazakh agro technical University. S. Seifullin, Astana;
  • S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar state University, Pavlodar;
  • University "Narkhoz", Almaty; Almaty University of power engineering and telecommunications, Almaty, Kazakhstan;
  • M. Auezov South Kazakhstan state University., Shymkent;
  • D.Serikbaev East Kazakhstan state technical University.

The contest was contacted by 4 subjects: the organization of computer systems and networks, computer networks, object oriented programming, Internet technologies.

The tasks of the Olympiad were examined by the jury composed of:

Chairman - Kovalev Aleksandr Vladimirovich, Director of corporate management and information technologies of JSC "Ulba metallurgical plant";
