On December 23, 2015 was held the information day for students and professors on direction training of the bachelor's program Energy and Safety in D.Serikbayev EKSTU, room G-3-419.

It was held within the project "East Kazakhstan Regional Sustainability Project for Workplace Safety and Energy Efficiency Training", implemented on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation D.Serikbayev EKSTU, AES Corporation in Kazakhstan, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), SF «Management of Energy and Utilities EKО», Office of the State Labour Inspectorate of the East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk Polytechnic College (UKPC).

Elena Van, head of the sub-department «Life Defense and Environment Protection» and Tamara Segeda, assistant professor of «Power Engineering and Technical Physics» presented aims of the project, expected results, project participants for the students of 3rd and 4th courses and professors of the sub-departments. It was presented information about the web-pages on the official web-sites of the project that can get information about the project. Also, E. Van and T. Segeda answered to the questions of students and professors on the project.
