In order to consolidate theoretical knowledge in the major disciplines of the specialty "Mechanical Engineering", the representatives of the department conducted an excursion around the Ust-Kamenogorsk reinforcement plant for students of groups 15-TMk-1,2.

The students familiarized with the technological process of manufacturing the details of the slide gate valve. They watched how they get the finished products, from punching and preparation to assembly and testing operations. Shut-off valves of JSC "UKAZ" are in demand in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the countries of near and far abroad.
