From 11 to 14 October 2010 the visit of the expert committee of the Accreditation Center of the Association of Engineering Education of Russia (AC AEER) took place in D. Serikbayev EKSTU for the evaluation of educational programs:

Experts have studied standard and organizational-methodical documents on both educational programs, including curricula, working programs (syllabuses) of disciplines, samples of student's and graduate’s qualifying works, educational-methodical complexes of disciplines and other materials given by university during the audit. Meetings with students, teachers, graduates and employers have taken place.

The commission has made a conclusion that these educational programs correspond to requirements of the international standards of accreditation and recommended to Presidium AEERto appropriate «the European quality symbol» (EUR-ACE® Label). It means recognition of EKSTU’s diplomas on the given specialties of a bachelor degree at the international level.
