In 2010, international student’s Olympiad “IT-planet”, which was conducted for the fourth time, united the members of CIS that gave it the international status. Students from Ukraine and Kazakhstan joined the student’s from Russia. Students from Informazionnyh Tehnologiy i Energetiki department took part in such a grandiose event, which joined over 700 participants only from Kazakhstan.

7000 students from 660 colleges and universities of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan took part in qualification round in six nominations: “Programming”, “Software usage and administration”, “Network systems and devices”, “Digital art and 3D-modelling”, “Innovative and software projects” and “Meeting Olympiad in Sochi”.

The tasks for ph1participants were developed by world leading IT companies: Intel, Oracle, 1C, IBM, D-Link, Adobe Systems, Linux Center.

Winners of the remote qualification round, students of the fourth academic year Zhabskiy Konstantin 07-IS-1, Fedotova Irina 07-VT-1, Auganbaev Ardaq 07-VT-1, took part in republican final, that was taking place in Kazakhstan-British Technical University.

They participated in 3 nominations: “Administration of Windows Server 2008 R2”, “Programming with 1C: Predpriyatie 8”, “Protocols, services and devices” (D-Link). ph2

Fedotova Irina won second place and became one of 135 finalists of International Olympiad. From May, 11 to May, 13 2001 she shall fight for the victory in Moscow University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics.

Diploma of the second grade is given by “1C-САПА” representative. Especially for winners, there were made exclusive medals of glass with inner laser engraving.
