At D.Serikbaev EKSTU with the east swing there was "Nauryz" celebrated.

There were installed three large white yurts. There was laid the table with traditional dishes of national cuisine. There was held a theatrical show "Tabigat Patsha" and presented choreographic production “Koktem Nury" and "Nauryz".

The rector of D.Serikbayev EKSTU Zh.K. Shaimardanov made a congratulatory speech.

The culmination of the celebration was the appearance of Kydyr Ata. He is a mythical spirit of the holiday. A wise old man congratulated and blessed the people on good deeds.

There were national games and sports events. There were competitions in arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, chess, togyz kumalak, tug of war, doiby etc.

The concert program was not less intense. The popular folk songs and dances were performed by creative collectives of the University.
