At 1st of December, the day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of working visit to East Kazakhstan region Aslan Sarinzhipov - Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical University. He took part in the solemn ceremony of commissioning of a new student hostel №1 of D. Serikbayev EKSTU located at 47 Serikbayev Street.
Veterans of the University, lecturers, students, guests and alumni of different years attended near the entrance to the hostel.
- In Kazakhstan in full swing infrastructure projects implemented in the field of education. On the initiative of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev by the Ministry of education and science has implemented the construction of the new hostel in the framework of the project "Student housing", - said Aslan Bakenovich, - Today we are celebrating two remarkable events - the day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and opening of the new student hostel. I congratulate you heartily with this remarkable holiday and wish strong health, success in all endeavors.
On behalf of the representatives of industrial enterprises, employers-partners of the University Andrey Lazarev - managing Director for the sustainable development of LLP «Kazzinc» congratulated all the participants with holiday and gifted televisor to students.
Aislu Zhandossova - excellent student, student of the 4th course of the engineering faculty also spoke with words of gratitude on behalf of students who receive warrants in the new hostel. She accepted a symbolic key from the hands of the Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Aslan Sarinzhipov.
Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov, Minister of education and science of RK Aslan Sarinzhipov and the student of the 4th course of the engineering faculty Aislu Zhandossov held the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Capacity of the new hostel is for 500 people, it will be function along with existing University hostels. The hostel is equipped with a conference room, Internet-room, training room, canteen, kitchen and shower rooms. It has the necessary modern training, cooking, laundry equipment, new furniture. There are created all the necessary conditions for work and leisure. Cozy and comfortable rooms are prepared for students, undergraduates and PhD students.
Opening of new student hostel was a welcome gift for all students of EKSTU. Student hostel lets to study in high school students from rural areas of our region, as well as from different cities of Kazakhstan.
Apart students from rural areas students from the southern region of country coming on the program "Serpіn" have a possibility to study in EKSTU study. During the visit of the Minister A. Sarinzhipov was meeting with students Serpіn.
