By the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Aslan Sarinzhipov was assigned new Rector of D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University Doctor of biological sciences, professor, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Zhassulan Kudaibergenovich Shaimardanov.

At enlarged meeting of the university staff the Chairman of the Committee on Control in Education and Science, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Sayat Nyusupov presented new Rector of the University.

Personality of Zhassulan Kudaibergenovich is well known in scientific and educational area in the country. He was Vice-Rector of Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute, the First Vice-Rector of Pavlodar State University and then Rector of Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute., also he was Rector of Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin.

His work experience also included work as the Director of the Department on Control in Education of Pavlodar region of the Committee on Control in Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His last position was as the Director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education and International Cooperation in the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Addressing to the staff of the University, Zhassulan Shaimardanov noted that he is ready to begin the implementation of strategic important goals currently facing technical university: improving the quality of education, implementation of real projects of industrial-innovative development, providing training of qualified personnel for the new economy.
