Discussion of further cooperation between D.Serikbayev EKSTU and Kazzinc, Ltd was the main topic at a meeting of Vice-Rectors, Deans and Sub-department Heads of the University with the Andrey Lazarev, Vice President for Administrative Affairs at Kazzinc.

Kazzink is one of the main strategic partners of the University, fruitful cooperation have been between them for many years. So, stationary branch of the the main University sub-departments ("Chemistry, metallurgy and enrichment" and "Geology and mining) was arranged in Kazzinc." Its goal is to train together mining and metallurgical specialists who are able to apply set of specific knowledge and practical skills in the professional production activity.

Andrey Lazarev thanked the administration and staff for the high level of training of young professionals who come to the production enterprises after graduation. He mentioned that for two years of sub-department branch existence it had been clearly seen that such training approach in was the most effective.

- We are interested in expanding of fruitful cooperation with your University, - Andrey Pavlovich said. - I am glad that this preliminary meeting has already demonstrated many interesting ideas and suggestions. The only thing which should be done is to discuss them in details and to start their implementation.
