On the 26th of August this year on the basis of EKSTU was held training for members of the Supervisory Boards of three universities in our region. Training seminar for representatives of D. Serikbayev EKSTU, S. Amanzholov EKSU and Shakarim University of Semey city was conducted by an international expert in higher education, Professor Stephen Hagen and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Finance of the Korkyt-ata Kyzylorda State University Nurlan Urazbaev. During the training the participants worked with cases developed on the basis of research field and comparative analysis of the best international practice. The seminar was practical and focused on training members of the Supervisory Boards for the finer points of financial and strategic management in universities.
