In the period from November 14 to 17, 2017 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk in UK TMP JSC sports complex conducted  the regional volleyball tournament dedicated to the memory of Bagdat Mukhametovich Shayakhmetov, the first president of UK TMP JSC.

The team of D.Serikbaev EKSTU won the III place among 8 commands of East Kazakhstan region.

The team was trained by B.A. Daumov, the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports and S.Bekbosynov, the teacher of physical education.
