A solemn handing diplomas in PhD Doctors who defended their theses in 2014 on the dissertation councils at Al-Farabi Kazakh national university, K. Satpayev Kazakh national technical university and Karaganda state university named after Buketov held in D. Serikbayev EKSTU.

Eight doctoral students of 2014 year of graduation from D. Serikbayev EKSTU became owners of philosophy PhD Doctor diplomas. They are Gulnaz Zhomartkyzy and Aliya Nugumanova (6D070300 - Information systems), Lyaila Bayatanova, Bauyrzhan Rakhadilov, Sherzod Kurbanbekov (6D072300 - Technical physics), Zhanar Onalbayeva, Meruyert Adilkanova (6D070900 - Metallurgy), Natalya Zimanovskaya (6D070600- Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits).
