On the 8th of September at D. Serikbaev EKSTU there was the presentation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan scholarship program  "Bolashak" with the participation of the President of JSC " Center for International programs " of the Education and Science Ministry of  Kazakhstan Gani  Saktaganovich Nygmetov and Co-rector for Academic and Methodological Work Nicholay Linok.

Opening the meeting, Gani Nygmetov pointed that under conditions of widespread industrialization of the state and the reform "The nation's Plan "100 steps" the Head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed to develop a training system of technical specialists by the international standard, who are able to perform state tasks for the implementation of crisis management and structural reforms for the diversification and industrialization of Kazakhstan's economy.

- For the moment, 158 graduates of Bolashak program work in East Kazakhstan region. 49.5 percent of them are working in state bodies and institutions, 30% in private companies and 2.5% in foreign companies, - said Gani Nygmetov, - Beside of it, 50 students of Bolashak program studies abroad are the natives of East Kazakhstan region. 40 of them are in the master's program, 5 undergraduate, 4 – internship and 1 doctoral program.

For those who are thinking to go abroad by "Bolashak" program Ghani Nygmetov pointed the main purposes of the International scholarship "Bolashak" and told about the minimum requirements for admission:

First round: IELTS: 5.0 of 9.0

TOEFL: ITP**/PBT 417 of 677

IBT 35 of 120

Second Round: KazTest 75 of 150 (the state language)

THIRD round: Psychological diagnostics of learning ability and living abroad

FOURTH round: Determined the knowledge of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, history of Kazakhstan, the state symbols, the level of training of the applicant

Fifth Round: Making the decision «contract signature"

Admission for participation in competition on award of the International scholarship "Bolashak" 2016 is held in three stages: the first from the 11th of  April to the 13th of  May; the second from the 13th of  June to 29th of  July; the third from the 15th  of August to the 30th of September. The official administrator of the "Bolashak" scholarship is JSC "Center for international programs", which was established by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 301 of April 4, 2005.
