Two teams of our University's Startup Academy have been selected for participation in the Youth Republican Competition of start-up projects "Startup" Bolashak-business Pavlodar ".

The purpose of the competition is to support the business initiatives of young collectives aimed at creating and improving standards of the quality of life, as well as transferring advanced knowledge and technologies to the socio-economic life of the country.

The competition organizers are JSC "Center for International Programs" "Bolashak", "Center for the Development of Youth Initiatives", Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute and Pavlodar State University named after S.Toraigyrov.

EKSTU "IT Pro" and "Blackpear" teams will compete with the country's best technical universities for the Prize fund of one million seven hundred thousand KZT (1st place - 800,000 (eight hundred thousand) KZT, 2nd place - 600,000 (six hundred thousand) KZT; 3rd place - 300 000 (three hundred thousand) KZT). They are developing projects in the field of IT and creating mobile applications. Project of the "IT Pro" team is the development of a unique new format site for the job placement of people, which has no analogues throughout the world. Project of the "Blackpear" team is the creation of a mobile application for smartphones that will combine the student portal, the university's website and news feed with the possibility to monitor the progress and schedule of both students and teachers.

The contest will be held from 15 to 18 November in Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov.
