A scientific seminar organized by the Department of Research Activities was held at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU). Participants-scientists, researchers, and university faculty-delved into discussions on relevant topics and explored the findings of research conducted abroad.

The seminar served as a platform for experience exchange, where leading experts presented their work:

Olga Anatolyevna Petrova, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the School of Earth Sciences, shared insights from her trip to the avalanche service of the Krasnaya Polyana resort. Her presentation highlighted innovative approaches to avalanche risk forecasting and prevention;

Darya Sergeyevna Surova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Senior Lecturer, discussed international experiences in engineering education, emphasizing key approaches that can be adapted in Kazakhstan;

Saltanat Nurbolsynovna Suyeubayeva, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Senior Researcher at the Business School, presented the outcomes of her participation in an international conference in Kuala Lumpur. Her report focused on new economic models discussed on the global stage;

Albina Talapzhanovna Kadyroldina, PhD, from the School of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, highlighted key aspects of her participation in a conference addressing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence;

Didar Kairatovich Eskermesov, PhD and Senior Researcher at the International School of Engineering, presented research under project AP22683206. He discussed the development of Ti-Au-based coatings using the PVD method for biomedical applications and the improved mechanical properties achieved;

The seminar allowed participants not only to gain new knowledge but also to discuss the prospects of integrating the presented findings into scientific and educational processes.

The event once again underscored EKTU role as a hub for scientific thought and innovation, ready to implement cutting-edge technologies and approaches in the interests of the region and the nation.
