The decision concerning the professor of "Geology and Mining" sub-department of our university was made in January 15, and a few days ago there was the solemn ceremony of the certificate award in Almaty. 

Valentin Hasanovich has been working at the university since 1994. In 1999 he defended his Doctor's Dissertation in engineering sciences in D.Kulenov Mining Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. 

His research activity orientation: optimization of the systems and parameters of developing complex structure multimetallic deposits of special ores. Taught modules: mine working timbering.

In 2002 he got the Professor title.

In 2005 he was elected a full member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now he is a member of the Academy of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
