D.Serikbayev EKSTU was visited by representatives of the German technical University "Clausthal".

Director of the Institute of welding, cutting, and manufacturing processes Professor V. Wesling and Director of the Institute of mining Professor O. Langefeld visited the laboratories of the University. A meeting was held with the leadership and scientists of the University. The sides discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of students. During the visit, also there was discussed the prospects of creating on the basis of EKSTU the only in Kazakhstan Doctoral students School with financial support from the Volkswagen Foundation.

At the end of the working meeting, the guests presented to the rector of D.Serikbayev EKSTU Zhassulan Shaimardanov Souvenirs symbolizing the attributes of German miners.
