The International conference  "Computational and Information Technologies in science, Technics and Education 2013"  was held at  the D. Serikbayev EKSTU.

Academicians of national academies of sciences from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan as well as scientists from Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Serbia took part in the conference.

D. Serikbayev EKSTU which celebrate 55th anniversary this year was honoured to hold this a conference in collaboration with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, SRI for Mathematics and Mechanics Al-Farabi KNU, SB RAS. D. Serikbayev EKSTU is one of the leading universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of information and computer technologies.

N.Temirbekov, Rector EKSTU, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Member of Kazakhstan's National Engineering Academy emphasized in his welcoming speech to the participants of the conference that similar conferences have already been held sixth times in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The first conference took place in Almaty in the 2002 year, the second conference took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk in 2003.

The main purpose of this conference was to share experiences and to discuss some issues in the field of information and IT technology application in various fields of science, technology, education and international cooperation

Amandyk Tuleshov , Deputy Chairman committee on science MES RK greeted the conference participants and congratulated them on behalf Aslan Saringipov, Minister of Education.

The Minister of education also congratulated Yriy Shokin, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SB RAS) and N.Danaev,  Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Head of SRI for Mathematics Mechanics Al-Farabi KNU).

N.Danaev , Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Head of SRI for Mathematics Mechanics Al-Farabi KNU),  Nailja Luth, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the University of Applied Sciences Amberg- Weiden and S.Kabanihin (SB RAS), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences presented their papers at the conference plenary meeting.

The conference was completed with giving awards and breastplates "For merits in development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" to the university faculty.
