On November 6, QS ranking agency published the results of the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025. This year, 984 universities from 25 countries were included in the ranking, with 35 universities from Kazakhstan, which is an absolute record of higher education in the country's history.
According to QS World University Rankings: Asia 2025, 22 Kazakhstani universities, including Serikbayev EKTU, have improved their last year's positions. The average value of calculated indicators of Kazakhstani universities - participants of the rating increased in each indicator of the rating methodology.
D. Serikbayev EKTU made a significant improvement, rising to 288th place compared to last year, when it was in the 301-350 range. The university showed substantial progress in indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, and the student-to-faculty ratio, confirming the high standing of our university within the global and, in particular, the Asian academic community.
It is worth noting that QS rankings are recognized as among the most influential in the world. The methodology for the QS Asia University Rankings 2025 retains the key indicators of the global QS World University Rankings, but also incorporates a set of performance indicators specifically tailored for universities in this region. The QS Asia University Rankings are based on 11 indicators that objectively and comprehensively reflect the activities of the leading universities.
