Nauryz of 2023 begins with good news! It is marked by a significant achievement of EKTU. As a result of an international audit by the team of the British agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University was awarded a high rating: "4 STARS" of excellence in the international QS Stars University Ratings.
QS Stars is a university rating system, the purpose of which is to provide complete information about the university for all interested parties: potential students, partners, experts, scientists, employers. This rating evaluates the university on 50 different indicators from administrative and academic activities, to achievements in teaching and learning, graduate employment, infrastructure facilities, and impact on the surrounding reality.
EKTU received "5 stars" (excellent) in the categories:
- Teaching
- Employment
- Sustainable development.
In the categories of Internationalization, Research, Infrastructure facilities, the university has "3 stars" (very good). The educational program "Mining" is also rated with three stars.
Such results demonstrate the high international status of EKTU, commitment to the principles of improving the quality of all areas of the university's activities, and the desire to influence society and the economy!
