The final destination was the main office of the American Councils in Washington, D.C.

The main goal of the visit was to discuss the possibilities of the American Councils in organizing effective interactions with American universities and to explore their funding opportunities.

The university delegation was welcomed by Adrian Erlinger, Program Manager of the Center for Internationalization and Global Interaction, and Ksenia Ivanenko, Innovation and Capacity Building Program Officer.

The university representatives discussed the opportunities of the American Councils for supporting the establishment of an office for academic writing at the university and improving language training for our faculty.

Additionally, the delegation considered the possibility of recruiting volunteers with help of the American Councils, for the development of our business incubator and accelerator, and attracting aid in organizing entrepreneurship trainings for our researchers. These efforts are directed towards developing entrepreneurial skills and commercialization of research results of the EKSTU.

The university representatives were also introduced to the programs of the competitions organized by the American Councils.
