Due to Astana Day Youth Affair Committee and Student Creativity Department have organized intellectual competition which is called «Astana is a city of my dream».

The greeting words were announced by Head of Student Creativity Department Arailym Kumarkhanova and Youth Affair Committee Head Samat Baigereyev. In their speech was noticed that Astana Day has a great importance in the view of historical and cultural value.

The competition consisted of 2 stages that is warming up and main stage. In the first stage students was offered 15 questions about geographical characteristic and population of Astana.

The main stage was held in the following directions: history of the city, seesights, universities and songs about Astana.

Winners of the competition was awarded diploma and presents. According to the results of the event, Nurbolat Musirepbek, student of faculty of engineering awarded the 1st place. The 2nd place awarded Akbota Kalibek, student of faculty information technology and business. And the 3rd one awarded  Erkegul Nurbol, student of faculty information technology and business.

It can be noticed that all the participators of the competition demonstrated deep knowledge during the event. This circumstance a more time showed that students of university have a high level of patriotic consciousness.
