On the other day the scientific session of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science has been held in Astana. The heads of scientific organizations reported about the efficiency of scientific researches and the prospects for science development within the realization of the strategy “Kazakhstan-2050”.

The scientists stated that there are certain positive changes in the Kazakhstan science: the financing has increased, the staff ensuring has improved, the number of publications in world journals has risen. The main directions of science development have been identified, and among them –the increasing of competitiveness and participation in large-scale international projects, orientation for innovations and participation in State Program of forced innovative industrial development, effective integration with the education and business, forming state-private partnership, and participation in EXPO- 2017.
