The VI winter Universiade of Kazakhstan universities was held in Almaty from 06.02.2016 to 17.02.2016. Our University participated in eight kinds of sports: ski racing (men-13th place, women - 12th), presidential multiathlon (men, women - 7), the hockey - 4th place, speed skating - 9, a snowboard - 4th place, ski - 5th place, biathlon (men - 6th place, women - 5th place), orienteering (men, women - 8 position). It was attended by 56 students of our University. Among the 35 higher education iniversities of Kazakhstan EKSTU after D. Serikbayev took 8th place.
